St Joseph’s Convent School Hosts Colourful Kids Fest 2025 – 'Stella Cras’

St Joseph’s Convent School, Kalpetta, organised a vibrant and joyful children’s festival titled “Kids Fest 2025 – Stella Cras (Stars of Tomorrow)” on Thursday, 18 December, at the School Open Auditorium. The programme, held at 5.00 p.m., celebrated the innocence, creativity, and boundless potential of young learners.
The event began with a prayer by the school choir, setting a serene and meaningful tone for the evening. This was followed by a welcome address by Mrs. Hycinth Hurtis, staff member of the school, who warmly greeted the gathering and highlighted the importance of nurturing young minds.
The Annual Report was presented by Rev. Sr. Reeta George BS, KG Incharge, offering an overview of the academic and co-curricular progress of the kindergarten section. The Presidential Address was delivered by Rev. Sr. Hermina BS, Provincial Councillor of the Southern Province, who encouraged children to grow with confidence, creativity, and values.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Mr. Aju Mathew, PTA President, who delivered the inaugural address, appreciating the efforts of teachers and parents in shaping the future of children. Felicitation addresses were given by Rev. Sr. Josephin Shylaja BS, Local Manager, and Rev. Sr. Alphonsa Joseph BS, Principal, who applauded the enthusiastic participation of students and the dedicated work of the staff.
The festival truly lived up to its theme, “Celebrate the joy of childhood where little dreams shine bright,” as children showcased their talents through colourful and engaging performances, spreading joy among parents and guests.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Mrs. Shyni Martin, staff member, followed by the National Anthem. The event stood as a memorable celebration, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education and the joyful development of young learners.
