PTA General Body Meeting and Award Ceremony Held at St. Joseph’s Convent School, Kalpetta

St. Joseph’s Convent School, Kalpetta hosted its annual PTA General Body Meeting and Conferment of Awards on 12th July 2025. The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from parents, teachers, and students, and served as a platform to review the academic year's progress, elect the new PTA, and recognize outstanding contributions within the school community.

The program commenced with a prayer led by the school staff, setting a reflective tone for the day. This was followed by a welcome speech by Rev. Sr. Josephin Shylaja BS, the local manager, who extended a warm greeting to the dignitaries and attendees.

Mr. Sanish T O, Joint Secretary of the PTA, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the achievements and initiatives of the past academic year. The Presidential Address was delivered by Adv. T Siddique, MLA of the Kalpetta Constituency, who praised the school’s efforts in nurturing holistic development among students.

A motivational Inaugural Address was delivered by Mr. P P Suresh Kumar, a renowned consultant psychologist and educationist from Cochin. His words emphasized the importance of strong school-home partnerships for the overall well-being of students.

One of the key highlights of the event was the Conferment of Awards, recognizing excellence in academics, co-curricular activities, and service.

Rev. Sr. Alphonsa Joseph BS, Principal of the school, formally thanked the outgoing PTA members for their service and welcomed the newly elected PTA. A felicitation speech was expected from the newly elected President Mr Aju Mathew, marking the beginning of a new chapter of collaboration.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the program.
